The Bhoj Open University (Madhya Pradesh Bhoj University) is a non-profit public university which is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The Bhoj Open University is a part of National initiative to support affordable and quality higher and advanced education. The University was recognized in the year of 1991 under an Act of State Assembly. The University also honored with the Post-facto recognition of Distance Education Council for programms provided by the distance modes. All the distance programms provided by the University are approved by DEC. The Bhoj Open University is also recognized and approved by the NCTE for conducting Distance Education courses.

  • Contact Programms:- The University will conduct two face to face contact programms after 12 days of duration at regional centres of the university and also at recognized study centers. An attendance of 75 percent is compulsory for each student in each subject. Date and time of the contact programms will be informed to the students through university website/notice board/ Telephone contacts.
  • Audio and video lectures: The University provides high-quality audio-video lectures by experts for the students which is transmitted through satellites with collaboration with DRDO, ISRO, etc. The lectures are very much similar to virtual classrooms which enhances the chance of better learning.
